DR. ELEANOR GALAPON CASAL-PANIS
Dr. Eleanor Galapon Casal-Panis is the resident dermatologist and proprietor of Elederm. She is a board-certified dermatologist, board-certified pharmacist, and a Fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society, ranking 6th in the Dermatology Diplomate Examination.
She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Santo Tomas, and completed her Diploma in Dermatology at the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) after three years of residency training, serving as Deputy Chief Resident in her senior year.
Her commitment to continuous learning has led to further qualifications, including a Masters in Management, Major in Hospital Administration from the Philippine Christian University (2024), and advanced fellowships, including Advanced Dermatologic Surgery and Lasers, National Skin Center, Singapore (2015); Trichoscopy and Hair Disorders, Medical University of Warsaw, Poland (2020); and Cutaneous and Laser Surgery, Institute of Dermatology, Bangkok, Thailand (2025). She also attended specialized trainings in procedural dermatology in Singapore (2016) and Seoul, South Korea (2024), and advanced lasers in Milan, Italy (2023).
In 2014, she founded the E-Skin Clinic in Tacloban City and continues to serve as a visiting consultant at Divine Word Hospital. Responding to growing demand in aesthetic dermatology, she established the first Elederm branch in Robinsons Place Tacloban (2016), followed by branches in Sagkahan (2018) and Ormoc City (2023).
An award-winning researcher with multiple scientific publications, Dr. Casal-Panis remains deeply committed to clinical dermatology as the foundation of her practice. She believes patients deserve evidence-based medical care and long-term solutions for both clinical and aesthetic concerns. Through Elederm, she strives to make expert dermatologic services more accessible to the people of Eastern Visayas.
